About Shared Spotlight
Shared Spotlight is a local networking and promotional community for businesses in Central Massachusetts—the Wachusett area and beyond. It gives business owners a place to meet one another, introduce their work, share recommendations, and increase their visibility through the strength of a connected community.
It is part local business network, part promotional platform, and part community hub—built around one simple belief: one business can create attention, but a connected community can multiply it.
Many traditional networking groups can feel expensive, exclusive, overly formal, or competitive—like members are fighting for a limited seat at the table. Newer and smaller businesses often find them hardest to enter.
Shared Spotlight was created as an alternative: a welcoming local business community with a professional, polished identity. Your success does not take away from someone else's. There is room for everyone to shine.
Business Builder already runs a recurring feature called Spotlight Monday, which highlights local businesses and helps tell their stories. The name Shared Spotlight grew from that idea—rather than one business holding the spotlight at a time, the new group lets local businesses actively share that visibility with one another.

Shared Spotlight was started by two Ashleys—one from each founding business.

Business Builder provides branding, logo design, websites, social media graphics, marketing materials, and digital marketing support for local businesses. Through its Spotlight Monday series, Ashley Donovan was already shining a light on local companies—Shared Spotlight takes that idea further.

Clean Slate Solutions is a local cleaning company built on referrals, relationships, and word-of-mouth support. Its owner, Ashley, understands firsthand what it is like to start and grow a local business—exactly the experience this community exists to support.
Shared Spotlight intends to grow into a place for local business discovery, promotion, collaboration, education, and community opportunity—a recognizable hub where residents can find trusted local businesses and business owners genuinely know one another.
